House Tour Part 1 - a.k.a. The Spare Bedroom

Since we're just starting our blog and since we want to encourage family and friends to come and visit us in our homey, comfortable, and otherwise desirable to stay-in house (hint, hint), we've decided to begin with a tour of our first house (apartment) as a married couple.

We've decided to start in the spare bedroom, aka where you'll stay when you come to visit us soon. Here's an overview:

Now, let's take a closer look at some of the finer points of the room that you'll be staying in.

First, you'll be sleeping on this comfortable double mattress, decorated with a handmade quilt of Mom Robertson's. For couples or families, we also include a complimentary queen-size air mattress which is conveniently stashed under the bed. At the foot of your bed is a hand-crafted cabinet made by Mr. Todd Michael Wiese himself (he says some credit should go to Mom and Dad as well).

Second, if you should ever feel bored while staying in the lovely spare room, feel free to seek out the storage closet for entertainment. Not only would you be able to set up a tent, dress up in skiing attire, decorate for Halloween or Christmas, or drill some holes in the wall, but you could also spend hours reorganizing to your heart's content. Free of charge!

And last, but certainly not least, you can always rest easy knowing that you share the room with a fairly well stocked food storage. Should any natural disasters, zombie apocalypses, or pandemics occur during your stay here, you will have first dibs on our food storage. Also good for midnight snacks.

And if that didn't convince you to come visit us, stay tuned for the guest bathroom!

  1. And don't forget, we could wrap presents if we get bored! (I notice your have an ample supply of wrapping paper!) Well, I will have to consult with my airline to see if we can make something happen - I can't wait to see your new apartment! Love you guys!
